Data handling

Receiptry does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer or to third parties. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, remote crash reporting, or third-party SDKs.

Purchase titles, stores, prices, dates, notes, receipt images, and reminder preferences are stored locally in the app’s sandbox on the user’s device.

Device permissions

Receiptry may request camera access when the user photographs a receipt, photo library access through Apple’s system picker, and notification permission after a purchase with a warranty is saved.

These permissions are used only for the requested feature. Receipt images are copied into Receiptry’s local storage. Notification requests are scheduled and delivered locally by iOS. Permissions can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

Sharing

Receiptry does not send, sell, rent, or share user data with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Retention and deletion

Local purchase data and receipt images remain on the device until the user deletes the relevant purchase or attachment, or removes the app. Users can delete purchases and receipt attachments inside Receiptry.

The developer cannot retrieve or delete a user’s local Receiptry data because the developer does not receive it. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by Apple under the user’s iCloud and device backup settings.

Children

Receiptry does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

Security

Receiptry relies on the iOS application sandbox and system permission controls to protect local data. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also protect access to their device and backups.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Receiptry’s data practices change. The effective date above will be revised and the current policy will remain available on this page.
